Sound Design Demo Reel

Overview

As my senior year ends, many new challenges have been presented this month. My 6th portfolio class consisted of sound designing for a video game called The Blacksmith. It incorporated aspects of professional techniques and procedures used in the entertainment industry. The work was done with foley, sound effect editing, dialogue, basic Wwise implementation, and mixing for a final product. My audio engineering was performed on Protools. Plugins that were used were Izotope's Neutron mixing plugins. The plug-in consists of EQ and compression. The SFX consisted of Roli, Native Instrument, Pro Tools, and Izotope plug-ins. For the characters' dialogue, I used my son for the voice-acting and used an Izotope Nectar plug-in.
